Hi, I’m Lauren — but you can call me Lulu. After spending three years in Central Florida running operations at the Oviedo Farmer's Market, I brought my passion for local business and community building to Salt Lake City, where I founded the Bohemian Bum Farmer’s Market in May 2024.

Creating this market wasn’t just about selling goods — it was about creating a space where entrepreneurs could thrive, families could gather, and our community could grow stronger together. With every market, we aimed to empower small businesses, promote sustainability, and encourage connection.

The Bohemian Bum Farmer’s Market has always been a family affair. My husband Landon — an active duty Navy sailor — has played an essential role behind the scenes, balancing his demanding service with helping run the market’s operations. His logistical skills and attention to detail helped ensure smooth, successful events. Our daughter, not quite two years old, is the heart and soul of our Sundays — with her joy, giggles, and tiny but mighty contributions.

While Salt Lake City has been our temporary home, we’re thrilled to share that the Bohemian Bum Farmer’s Market is now in the capable and passionate hands of Kathy and Robi Ison. As Utah natives with a deep love for their community, Kathy and Robi are excited to carry on the mission of the market and take it to new heights.

After transitioning out of corporate America and successfully launching their own small business — The Whole Kat and Caboodle, as well as owning a vintage shop in downtown Salt Lake City — they found their calling in supporting local entrepreneurs and curating meaningful community spaces. Taking over the Bohemian Bum Farmer’s Market felt like a natural next step in that journey.

Their passion for uplifting small businesses, fostering creativity, and creating a welcoming environment perfectly aligns with the heart of what the market has always been about. I couldn’t imagine better people to continue the legacy we started.
